I tried two different installs of XP (one on a net book and the other on bootcamp) They both gave me a staticy image of what the camera saw when the wire was connected. Tried windows7 and had a solid black image. Downloaded that driver for OSX and it ran first try in a few seconds. It runs pretty smooth on my 2007 2.2ghz macbook with with 4gb of ram. Another thing you may want to look into is Elgato video capture for mac.

Does anyone know of any alternate viewers for win7? I give up with easycap. I got it to run under windows and was able to use AMCAP to get the video but it generates a weird file format only prism video converter can work with. I get it to convert but quality sucks.

There really arn't any netbook friendly capture programs it seems. I had Elgato video capture in my box, decided to use that instead.
